Since his debut with the Kazakh State Orchestra at age nine, Yevgeniy Dyo has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Kimmel Center, Tchaikovsky Hall, and the United Nations.
He has won awards like the Shabyt International Chamber Music Competition grand prize and the "New Names" Award.
Featured in the KBS Overseas Compatriot Award documentary, WWFM's "Celebrating Our Musical Future," and publications like the Washington Post and Kazakhstanskaya Pravda, Dyo’s career shines.
As a chamber musician and soloist, he co-founded Musica D'Accordo Astana and the Solo and Chamber Music Series in Ewing, NJ, performed in the world premiere of Karl Jenkins' Requiem, and served as assistant concertmaster with Camerata Kazakhstan.
Dyo has taught at Temple University, The Peddie School, and given master classes globally, while judging competitions like GMP International Violin. Since 2015, he has judged New Jersey All-State auditions.
As president emeritus of the Philadelphia Korean Musicians Association, he led events like the Korean Congress Centennial Celebration. As GMP Executive Director of the GMP International Violin Ensemble, he directed a Carnegie Hall performance and advised on a world premiere of Georgian compositions.
